Service Learning Opportunities

1.) The Friends of Evelyn Meador Library will host its 4th Annual Beautification Project, on March 23, 2019, starting at 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM. This annual event encourages the celebration of sustainability stewardship and community spirit. The morning will consist of a hands-on revitalization of the greenery, planting of flowers, picking up litter near the library, and freshening the mulch. These gestures of beautification will encourage a green litter-free landscape. More importantly, this project promotes a neighborhood vision to improve the quality of life in our Seabrook community. Your organization’s participation would significantly enhance our celebration. We are seeking volunteers of all ages (children must be accompanied by an adult).  We encourage all participants to dress comfortably and be prepared to beautify the library landscape! Light refreshments will be provided, courtesy of our generous sponsors.
